Going retro...

I also received a bandana that I ordered off eBay this week as an attempt to freshen up my hairstyles without too much effort. I chose the traditional red colour that most bandana's come in and decided to add it to my normal high ponytail I wear. I'm a bit unsure at the moment as to how much I like the look but I think I'm going to try and wear it with a quiff to make it more of the retro style that these types of hairstyles are. I guess its just a trial and error/success game at the moment for me :)

New Nike's - Finally a new addition to my wardrobe!!

This week my new Nike's arrived so when I decided to wear them, I was wondering what I should wear with them. I'm normally in my trusty high top converse but decided that these pink Nike's is the easiest and perfect way to add a pop of colour to my outfits!

Top - Primark, Necklace - eBay, Leggings - Topshop

I decided to team it with my vintage jumper I recently got off eBay...

and also with my black beanie hat and khaki denim jacket - River Island

Sorry about the picture quality in some of the photo's - I'm going to be getting a new one soon! :)

I've only worn these Nike's once this week so I'm yet to try it with any other clothe combinations but for my normally boring wardrobe at least its going to add a splash of well-needed colour!!

Let me know what you think of Nike blazers and how you wear them

Haim Time

Recently, I've been taking fashion tips from the gorgeous Haim band. the three sisters all seem to have the cool, laidback and effortless style I find so hard to achieve. They've got the dip-dye wavy hair and the leather jackets to add an edge. Over the summer, their style seemed to fit perfectly with the festival feel but now its getting so much colder, I've been wondering how to take this style into winter? Easy, just chuck a coat onto multiple layers of skinny jeans, leggings, tops, shirts and jumpers. Their style seems to encompass the rule of less is more with minimal effort and I'm not complaining!

Leather + denim = perfect combo!!

My first ever post!

Hi there,

If you're looking at this post then 1) I'm very grateful and 2) please don't have any high expectations; this is my first ever post in my quest to start a fashion and vintage blog. So... I guess I better introduce myself - my name's Hannah, from the UK and I'm just your ordinary 20 year old girl. I love reading all the latest fashion magazines and enjoy rifling through charity shops and market stalls. I've only recently discovered the vintage side of fashion but I have fallen in love! After reading many inspiring blogs (including http://www.vixen-vintage.com/ and http://jennyjenny-yesterdaygirl.blogspot.co.uk/), I've decided that I'm going to give it a go and see where it takes me. There's nothing much more for me to say than stay tuned and I hope you enjoy reading this. I look forward to reading your comments and feedback.
